Joanmarie P Williams

Joanmarie was a resident of Houston, Texas. She was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert Stanley Shelton, her son, Gilbert Shelton Jr., her daughter, Theresa "Terry" Jensen, her son, Thomas Shelton, her daughter, Denise Minnear, her great-grandson, Colton Jensen, and her great-great-grandson, Cruzz Martinez.

She is survived by her husband, Stuart Campbell Williams III, her sister, Georgette Staropoli, her daughter, Georgette Goode, her son, Dean Shelton, her son, Bryan Shelton, her son, Barry Shelton, her daughter, Bonnie Bennett, as well as 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, located at 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077, on January 26, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same location from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The Committal Service will take place at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, located at 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm on the same day.
