JoAnn Jamail of Houston, Texas passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023 at the age of 90. She was born on September 9, 1932, in Kansas City, Missouri and later moved to Easley, South Carolina. At the age of 6, she and her mother, Cora Mae moved back to Kansas City and finally to Houston, Texas where she married and started her family. She was a life-long member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Burris Westbrook, grandchildren, Misty Westbrook, Christopher Hernandez, Christopher Atkinson, Logan Burris, and great great grandchild Jaylen Delacruz.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 60 years, Donald Jamail, daughter, Shirley (and husband Gary) Baldwin, son, Randy Burris, daughter, Marian (and husband Luis) Garza, son, Michael (and wife Helen) Jamail, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held for the family on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond, Texas.
