Born in Houston, Texas, on November 2, 1960, John grew up in Channelview, Texas, and later moved to Crosby, Texas with his best friend and beloved wife, Janet. They enjoyed doing everything together, especially going to the race tracks where John loved taking his race truck, but most of all they cherished time spent with their children and grandchildren. John was a hardworking man who loved what he did until he retired after the loss of his wife in a tragic accident—a loss he never truly recovered from. For nearly seven years, he waited to be reunited with her, and his family finds comfort in believing that she was there to welcome him home.
