John was proceeded in death by his 2 sons. Thomas Smith and Johnny Smith.
John is survived by his wife Merlin Smith, daughters Dell Wilson and Nena Kimball, sister Betty Gill, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren among many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday December 12, 2022 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM and a funeral service at 2:00PM with celebration of life at 3:00PM at Evergreen Baptist Church Fellowship Hall at 23141 FM1314 Porter Tx, 77365.
