Johnny Lee Chevis, Sr., born August 24, 1960, in Houston, Texas. Born to Alvin Taylor and Laura Smith. Johnny worked hard as a truck driver for many years, before becoming a dedicated father and husband.
Heavy Chevy as we all knew him, gave his heart and love to many that surrounded him. He made sure that he provided for his family and enjoyed his time riding in his old faithful truck. As Johnny would say My TRUCK CAN GO! He loved traveling to and from Kansas, Beaumont, Galveston and Louisiana to visit family and for leisure.
One thing we all learned about Heavy Chevy is he loved fishing and always was looking for a new fishing set each Christmas. His time here on earth will always live on as a man on the move. He knew everyone and was very protective of his close family and friends.
