Johnny Duane Guillory of Groves, Texas lost his short but fierce battle to lung cancer on October 27, 2024, at the age of 66. Johnny was born in Houston, Texas on December 10, 1957, to parents, AD and Daisy Guillory.
Johnny had many passions in life. When he wasn’t working in the plants, he spent his time with his dogs in his shop working on old cars or out riding motorcycles.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, AD and Daisy; stepmother, Betty; brother, Ricky; sister, Nancy; daughter, Alicia; her mother, Sissy and granddaughter, Haley.
He is survived by his brothers Bill, Calvin, and Earl; son, Aron and his wife Tracy, son John and his wife Callie; granddaughters, Destiny her husband Michael, Nicole, Charlee, Avery, Emery, Lily, and Hazel; grandsons, Bode, Eli, and Ethan; and great-granddaughter, Tracy; as well as numerous family members and his closest friends, Janice and Kim.
A visitation for Johnny will be held Friday, November 1, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service is scheduled to follow and begin promptly at 10:00 AM in Brookside's Family Chapel with burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
