Jonathan Matthew Gay was born on October 10, 1981 at 3:10 PM. He was anxious to see the world.
Growing up he was involved in multiple activities such as Cub Scouts, martial arts, basketball and football, just to name a few.
His demeanor was mostly kind. He cared about others and treated people with respect. He had some his grandfather’s tendencies - John Smith, his name sake, John, so you knew when to approach him and when not to. Jonathan always saw himself bigger than life with a no problem I can’t fix it demeanor. Sometimes it went his way and sometimes not.
Jonathan quickly learned that all things are things are possible. He was loved by family and friends. I’m writing this just to give an insight on my son - my heart, my love. When I look up into the stars at night, I can see God’s greatness. I say to myself, “There you are, Jonathan - my star, my love, still watching over me. I Love you.”
A memorial service for Jonathan will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Paradise Funeral Home, Inc, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088.
