Jonathan is survived by his parents Elva Barboza and Juan Nunez;step-mom Brenda Baro and step-dad Abencio Amaya; sisters Ashley Alam, Elva Barboza, Rosemary Juarez, Janet Nunez, Gelsey Nunez, Melody Nunez and Annabelle Nunez; and brothers Marcos Gomez, Humberto Medina, Juan Nunez, and Andy Nunez.
Jonathan was preceded in death by his grandparents Angelica Gomez, Alberto Gomez, and grandfather Pedro Nunez.
A visitation for Jonathan will be held Monday, May 31, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A rosary will occur Monday, May 31, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A mass will occur Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 501 Tidwell Rd, Houston, TX 77022. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Historical Hollywood Cemetery, 3506 N Main St., Houston, TX 77009.
