Jose Luis Guzman

Jose Luis Guzman, born on November 19, 1957, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila passed away on December 13, 2025, surrounded by the people he loved most—his wife, children, and grandchildren. Jose was the heart of his family: a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, and a steady, caring father-in-law. Everything he did was rooted in love, loyalty, and a deep sense of responsibility to those he held dear.

For more than 40 years, Jose worked as a skilled craftsman, taking great pride in his work. He believed in doing things the right way, paying attention to the smallest details, and giving his best effort every day. That same dedication carried over into his personal life—Jose showed his love not just through words, but through actions, sacrifice, and hard work.

Family was Jose’s greatest joy. He loved being surrounded by his children and grandchildren, making memories, sharing laughs, and simply being together. He found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—hunting, watching baseball as a loyal fan of the Houston Astros, wrestling, singing, dancing, and admiring classic cars. These passions reflected his playful, lively spirit and the joy he brought into every room.

Jose now rests in heaven, reunited with his beloved mother, Leonor, and his father-in-law, Gregorio. While his absence leaves a deep ache, his love remains woven into the lives of those who knew him.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of over 30 years, Aide Nava-Guzman; his children, Brenda, Martha, Angelina, Jose, and Luz; his children-in-law, Jesus, Raul, and Karla; his treasured grandchildren, Jesus Jr., Lanae, Jayden, Jose Luis, and Nicholas; and his two “fur” grandchildren, Buddy and Kylo, who brought him so much happiness.

Jose Luis Guzman will be remembered for his warm heart, infectious joy, and the unconditional love he gave so freely. His legacy lives on in the family he built, the values he passed down, and the countless memories that will forever be held close.
