He is preceded in death by his parents, Victoria Nieto & Jose Herrera Cabrera.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Dalia Herrera; daughter Victoria Amador and her husband, Adrian Luis Amador; sons, Jose A. Herrera Jr., Daniel Angelo Herrera; three sisters, and two brothers.
A visitation for Jose will be held Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Monday, February 24, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A committal service will occur Monday, February 24, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
