

Jose, affectionately known as JJ, was a bright and kind young man who was currently attending YES Prep North Forest as a 10th-grade student. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be remembered for his joyful spirit and the light he brought to those around him.
JJ had a passion for video games, especially Roblox and Minecraft. He also loved Pokémon and found joy in the imaginative worlds these games and stories offered. His favorite colors were green and blue, which perfectly reflected his vibrant and calm personality.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Maria Luisa Martinez, and his grandfather, Guillermo Pineda.
Jose is survived by his father, Jose Eddy Jorge; his mother, Maria del Carmen Luna; his sisters, Mia Jorge and Sofia Jorge; and his grandmother, Audilia Andablo. He also leaves behind a host of loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Pallbearers honoring Jose’s memory include his father, Jose E. Jorge; his uncles, Guillermo Jorge, Alex Chavez, and Alberth Chavez; and his godfathers, Miguel Saldana and Rogelio Ramirez.
Jose’s life, though short, touched many and will forever be remembered with love, laughter, and warmth.
A visitation for Jose will be held Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A rosary will occur Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 6:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A committal service will occur Monday, October 6, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Monday, October 6, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at St Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2131 Lauder Rd, Houston, TX 77039.
