Jose Sanchez, age 83, went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2021. He was born on July 16, 1937 in San Isidro, Apozol, Zacatecas to parents Pablo Sanchez and Luisa Ramos. Jose was the oldest amongst his two sisters, Esperanza Sanchez and Angela De La Rosa. He met his wife, Ana Maria Llamas, in the 3rd grade.
Jose was a multi-venture business owner. Agriculture and cultivating were his hobbies and he had a love for farm animals, but his first love was always his wife and family. His time in this world revolved in being of service to his wife, sons, and daughters. He always took priority in his family needs, first before his own. Jose loved serving the people that were down on their luck, whether a homeless person or a friend that needed a job; he was there to support and help them get back on their feet.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Ana Martinez for being so loving and patient in her care of Jose Sanchez in his last days.
Remember me with smiles not tears, for all the joy through all the years. Recall the closeness that was ours, a love as “sweet” as fragrant flowers. Don’t dwell on thoughts that cause you pain, we’ll see each other once again. I am at peace…try to believe, it was my time…I had to leave. But “what a view” I have from here, I see your face, I feel you near, I follow you through the day, You’re not alone along the way. And when God calls you…you will be, right by my side…right here with me. Till then, I’ll wait by heavens door. We’ll be united…evermore!

A visitation for Jose will be held Friday, April 16, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Assumption Catholic Church, 901 Roselane St, Houston, TX 77037. A funeral service is scheduled to follow and begin promptly at 1:00 PM. A burial will occur at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
