Joseph Salvator Frusco

With heavy hearts we share the news that our beloved Joseph “Joe” Salvator Frusco went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 19, 2026. Joe was the owner of Frusco Landscape and Irrigation Company in Houston, Texas.

Joe was born in Scotch Plains, New Jersey on April 6, 1955, to Salvatore Joseph and Lucy (Deluccia) Frusco. He followed in the footsteps of his father, who was a successful Landscape Contractor in New Jersey. He often shared funny stories about working with his dad and brothers “in the business” while growing up.

Joe moved to Houston in the 80’s and established his own landscape company. Over the years he received many compliments on his landscape designs and had a gentle way of working with his clients to develop their ideas into reality. He loved to draw and would often present his customers with a hand drawn layout of their landscape project as seen through his eyes.

He was a treasured member of his community and church and enjoyed sharing his faith with others. He had a kind smile and a friendly word for everyone he met and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He adored his family and loved spending time with his two grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who know him.

He is survived by his family including Sandra Marie Frusco, his previous wife and still sweet friend, his daughter Stephanie Joe Parker, her husband Zachary Parker, and grandchildren Reagan and Wyatt, his daughter Angela Leigh Bryan, his brother Salvatore Joseph Frusco, Jr., nephew Salvatore “Sarry” Frusco III, niece Carolyn Frusco Mohr and numerous other family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents Salvatore Joseph and Lucy (Deluccia) Frusco, his brother Anthony Frusco, and his sister-in-law Frances Andrea Frusco.

Memorial services to honor Joe will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 4th, at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home located at 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079. Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 pm with a reception following the service.
