

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Lawrence Singleton and Rena Delahoussaye, one sister, Marie Singleton and two Brothers, Morris and Harrell Singleton, his Wife of 50 years, Georgia Lee Espree Singleton and first born son Kevin Lane Singleton, Sr.
Bro. Singleton married Georgia, October 1954. They moved to Texas in 1956. He was an excellent provider for his family. He worked as a Landscaper, part-time Postman, Construction Worker and Safety Inspector. When we’re in the downtown area and see Greenway Plaza, we think of Dad. He helped with the construction of those buildings from start to finish, 35 years.
Joseph was dedicated and baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, June 1959 in New Orleans La. He has spent his life serving Jehovah faithfully, witnessing in his later days, he witnessed to every Doctor, Nurse and anyone who walked through his door.
He was a high-spirited, big-hearted, loving and generous man who was forever appreciative for his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his daughters: Phyllis Ann Jenkins (husband Bobby), Monica Porter, his son: Bryan Keith Singleton, spiritually adopted daughter: Jacqueline Muckleroy (husband Raymond), grandchildren: Laura Ross, Victoria Cobb (husband, Justin) Mason Mohamed, Joseph Mohamed, Hailey Porter, Ari Singleton, Prescylia Singleton, Nehemiah Singleton, Devin Garcia (husband Pedro), Kevin Singleton, Jr. Bobby Jenkins, III (wife Valeria) Geremanii Jenkins, Le Andre’ Jenkins, Great-grandchildren: Sebastian Garcia, Gabriella Garcia, Bobby Jenkins, IV, Brielle Jenkins, Giselle Cobb, Noah Porter and Aiden Singleton.
He leaves his nieces: Wonderful (Wanda) Singleton, Romona Collins (husband Ira), Jo Anne Evans, Barbara Evans and Debra Tillman, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
