Joyce L. Spence

After a brave and valiant fight with cancer, Joyce Lanette Spence went to be with the Lord on 11/20/2014 at 3:06 pm. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Pete Spence. Pete felt lucky to be there in the beginning of their relationship and honored to be there at end. Joyce is also survived by her three daughters Kristin Novilla and her husband John Novilla, Valerie Bond, Amanda McClain and her husband Tim McClain. Grandchildren Stephanie Shomper, Sydney Shomper, Zachariah Novilla, Zoe Novilla, Dylan Spence-Fields, Kale Kerschner, Ariel McClain and Madison McClain. Great grandchildren Kanaan Jasso and Kieran Jasso. For a family that has lived all over the world and has experienced so much together, we love that she will lead the way on this spiritual adventure and wait in His glory for us. You are missed and loved more than words can express. We will keep the love and laughter going because you wouldn’t want any less or have it any other way.

On Thursday December 4th , a celebration of life memorial for Joyce Spence will be held at 2pm in the Chapel of Angels at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery which is located at 6900 Lawndale St., with a graveside service immediately following for family only.
