Juana Yolanda Martinez

Juana is survived by her husband, Marcelo M. Martinez Sr.; children Marcelo Martinez Jr., Connie M. Silva, Mary H. Cortez and her husband Louis, Yolanda M. Garza, Dianna Martinez and Liz Wilson, sister Isabel Jaso, grandchildren Marcelo Martinez III, Maria G. Martinez and husband John Buckley, Michael R. Silva and his wife Nelly, Jonathan A. Silva, Adrian J. Cortez and his wife Stacey, Angelica M. Cortez, Eddie Garza and his wife Lisa, Erica A. Pecina and her husband Fernando, Laura P. Pinones and her husband Juan, Jaynee Martinez, Zachary Wilson, and Samantha Wilson and great-grandchildren Khloe A. Silva, Mia C. Silva, Cate Cortez, Jace Cortez, Abigail E. Garza, Alyssa A. Pinones, Amy A. Pinones, Aiden A. Pinones, Javier A. Pecina, Aaron J. Pecina and Lorenzo T. Pecina, niece, Eva Garza, nephew, Carlos Vargas and wife Maria and great niece, Vita Castaneda and husband Juan. Juana also leaves behind her very close family friends Lucy Garcia, Jennette Reyes as well as numerous family and friends, she will be missed dearly.

Juana was preceded in death by her parents Rafael Jaso and Evangelina Lopez Jaso, brother, Enemencio Jaso and son in law, Jose Adan Garza.

A visitation for Juana will be held Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a praise service at 5:30 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Monday, July 2, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at Brookside Funeral Home - Grand Chapel, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039 with a committal service to follow immediately at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.

Serving as pallbearers are Marcelo Martinez III, Michael R. Silva, Jonathan A. Silva, Eddie J. Garza, Zachary Wilson, Adrian J. Cortez, Juan Pinones, Fernando Pecina and John Buckley (honorary).
