Juanita Parker

Juanita married her best friend and the love of her life on July 3, 1959. She had an unwavering faith of God and was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Jefferson, Texas and more recently Praise Tabernacle in Dayton, Texas.

In addition to raising her six children, Juanita ran Parkie Daycare for several years. She worked at youth camps in the kitchen and also worked with her husband as caretakers of UPCI Camp Grounds for several years.

Juanita loved to cook and bake for friends and family. Her favorite past times were making dolls, bunny rabbits and crocheting.

She loved children and considered you one of her own even if she just met you. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the joy of her life. She would take people into her home when they were in need and enjoyed being able to help others. Her bright smile would light up a room and her hugs would bring you comfort.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Annie Lingafelter and her son Samuel Koontz.
