Judy graduated from Davis High School in Mount Vernon, NY and later married Richard Caroll Clark in Teaneck, NJ on September 30, 1967. At the time, Judy was working for Texaco where she meet Richard. She and Richard moved to Houston where they raised 3 children. Judy was committed to her family as a stay-at-home mom and loved family gatherings. Judy was active in children’s school functions from elementary through high school and served as PTA President. She enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and almost any water activity.
Judy became a widow in 1988 and continued caring and providing for her children until they left home. Judy went back to work after a 20 year stay at home mom and stayed at Ameriprise Financial up until her passing. Through her 70’s and 80’s Judy remained independent and active and much engaged with her family. She was a great blessing to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and could always be counted on and will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard C. Clark; parents, Thomas & Alice Haessler; and brother, Tom Hassler.
Judy’s memory will be cherished by her survivors; son, Richard B. Clark and his wife, Traci; daughters, Jennifer Meehan and husband, Patrick, Debbie Walker and husband, Charles; Brother, Jim Haessler and wife Patricia; grandchildren, Joshua, Brittany, Alex and Cameron and longtime companion, Mo Galindo.
A visitation for Judith will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
