

Judy Kay Hooter, born October 26. 1940 to Noal and Lorine Albert in Wichita Kansas passed away January 24, 2012 in Corpus Christi Texas. She graduated from Wichita North High School in 1958 where she was a member of International Order of Rainbow for Girls and a life guard. She went on to attend University of Oklahoma. After college she worked as a Dental Assistant and then as a House Wife to Husband Ernest L Hooter and their children. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Wichita Ks, Ridgewood Park Methodist in Dallas, TX, Memorial Drive Methodist in Houston and Addicks United Methodist. She enjoyed reading, sailing, swimming, golf, Tennis and bowling. Loved Bridge, Bunko, Bingo and was known as the “Queen” of Bazaars.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Vicki Lynn Hooter. Judy is survived by her Husband of 47 years Ernest L Hooter, Sons Stephen Travis Hooter, Douglas Keith Hooter and Gregory Scott Hooter, Grandchildren Gracyn Elizabeth Hooter, Skylar Rose Hooter, Dylan Kole Hooter, Matthew Alvarado Hooter and sister Anne Kathryn Driver.
Serving as Pallbearers, Mark Groschke, Bob Templeton, John Olson, Erik Templeton, Jeremy Klahorst and Jason Klahorst with Honorary Pallbearers, Jeff Klahorst, Matthew Hooter and Dylan Hooter.
Donations can be made in remembrance of Judy to The Judy Hooter Memorial Fund Addicks Methodist Church. The family will receive friends and family at a visitation on Friday, February 3 from 6-9 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 4 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel at Forest Park Westheimer.
A reception will be held at the church following the services.
