Judy was born on December 2, 1943 in Dallas, Texas, and grew up in Houston, Texas. She attended the Kinkaid School and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. Judy taught various grades at Emmerson Elementary for 37 years. She is predeceased by her husband of 36 years Ronald P Slay, her mother, Alma Lee Foreman, and, her father, Keith Foreman. She is survived by her sisters Sally Faulkner and Lucy Ross and her brother in law John Ross, nephews and nieces, Tony Ross and wife Susan, Keith Ross and wife Brandi, and Rebecca Ross, Melissa Leonard and husband Joey, John Faulkner and wife Julie and Christopher Faulkner. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
