Julia Ann Johnson went to be with her Lord on June 8, 2017. She was born on April 14, 1926 in Apple Springs, Texas. Julia was preceded in death by her parents; all her siblings, loving husband of 40 years, Desmond Johnson; daughter, Valoyce Hinton; grandson, Kevin O’Hair.
She is survived by her two children, Raymond Hooks and wife Mona, Ouida O’Hair; five grandchildren, Shaun Northrup, Keenan Hinton, Anthony Hooks, Christy Hooks, La’Dell Sterling; eight great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Garza, Ashley Garza, Desmond Hooks, Cori Ferguson, Reagan Northrup, Kayla Luber, Cody Wallingford, Kaleb Sterling; two great-great grandchildren, Arabella Ballman and Alayna Wallingford as well as a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM; and a funeral service Monday, June 12, 2017 at 1:30 PM; followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
