

She was born to José Antonio Fernández and Herminia Amaya Fernández on October 7, 1966. After graduating from Klein Oak High School, Juliana received an Associate’s degree from San Jacinto College in Early Child Care.
She was an avid photographer with a caring soul who dedicated her life to teaching and nurturing children. Juliana had a compassionate and sacrificial heart, always giving what she could and making others laugh. She adored her pets and enjoyed working at The Learning Experience as a preschool teacher.
Juliana was the wife of Luis Cedeno and loving mother to her three children, Cassandra Cedeno, Andrea Hudman, and Anthony Cedeno. She was the devoted grandmother of Alina and Oliver; and caring mother-in-law to Sebastian Hudman.
She is preceded in death by her father, José Antonio Fernández, her sweet mother-in-law, Hallie Cedeno, and “Aunt Joyce” (Joyce Hamilton) whom she dearly loved. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, son-in-law, mother; sisters: Diana, Claudia, Sandra, and Camila; brothers-in-law, Buddy, Shane, John and Adam, as well as nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life and viewing is scheduled for May 19, 2023 at 6:00 PM and the service will begin at 7:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. Flowers are welcome and appreciated; however, if you would prefer to donate to organizations that meant so much to Juliana, please donate to the Houston Zoo or the Houston Museum of Natural Science on her behalf.
