Junell B. Getschmann, 86, entered into rest January 19, 2016. She was born on a farm in La Grange, Texas on July 11, 1929. Junell was married to Delvin L. Getschmann. She had a passion for sewing clothing, Polka dancing, watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Junell is survived by her Daughter Shirley Abrego and husband Daniel, Son Tim Getschmann and wife Mariann, Grandchildren Monica Abrego, Melissa Abrego Zientek and husband Ronnie, Mark Abrego Greatgrandchildren Krystal Zientek, Amanda Zientek, Adrian Zientek, Damian Abrego, and Great greatgrandchildren Logan and Brylar. Junell is preceeded in death by her husband Delvin L. Getschmann. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, Texas 77038. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 at 1:15pm with interment to follow at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, Texas 77038.
