

“Anything is possible.” That is what Justin Eugene Bruton believed about life.There was always a certain style and inventiveness to Justin. He was a dynamic, self-expressive person who was forever looking to celebrate the endless possibilities life had to offer. He had a knack for being clever, creative, witty and for others, was a joy to be around. While he was often fiercely independent, it seemed as if many others looked to Justin Bruton for inspiration, leadership, wisdom, and even courage. Justin was always more than willing to share life's experiences with his loved ones and friends. Justin will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was a creative man, a perpetual inventor, who seemed to be able to find a solution for any difficulty confronting him. He had faith in his ability to find those solutions. Justin thoroughly enjoyed understanding how things worked. He possessed an inquisitive, confident, and rational nature matched with a versatile and agile mind. Justin was a person who believed that he could achieve whatever he set out to do.
Justin was born on February 4, 1986 at Jeff Davis Hospital in Houston, Texas. His parents were Howard Dewayne and Carol Ann Bruton and Step Mother Denyse Claytor. Justin was raised in Houston,Texas. He showed his ingenuity even as a child. When he was confronted with a problem, Justin could develop an imaginative solution, and he derived satisfaction from knowing he had that ability.
This same talent for finding solutions had a positive bearing on Justin's family relationships. Justin was raised with one sibling. He had one brother Dewayne Allen Bruton. When a difficult situation or dilemma arose within the family, Justin was always there to help figure out a solution for making things work out.
As a young boy, Justin could be found building and inventing new and different things. He was curious, resourceful and interested in anything original. Justin took part in football and basketball. In his spare time he liked to skateboard,make jewelry, draw and preform tricks on his bicycle. Justin's memorable achievements included all star and most valuable player.
Endowed with an appetite for knowing how his world worked, Justin enjoyed school, especially when the learning experience involved dissecting and probing the unknown. Justin was adept at scrutinizing different possibilities and designing innovative solutions. He graduated from Springwoods High School in 2004. He enjoyed some courses more than others, having favorite classes and teachers. His favorite class in high school was art and hanging out with his friends. Justin was the class clown always enjoying laughter and fun.
Justin was socially resourceful, an expressive person who was willing to try new things. These qualities drew a lively circle of friends around him. Always interested in his friends’ activities and interests, Justin was uncritical of his acquaintances. He was sought after by people who recognized that he was generous with his time and energy, and these same friends found Justin to be very stimulating company. Justin's humor and curiosity were contagious for those around him. While growing up, some of his best friends were Ricardo Salinas,Eli Philley, Bryan Brezina,Rene Alvarado and his very best friend was his brother Dewayne. Later in life, he became friends with Chelsie Bush,Jason Staton,Timothy Damon,Josh Damon and Bill Tyler, but his brother and Ricardo remained his best friends through life.
Justin was adept at devising original and creative ways to enhance and improve his partnership. Justin was seldom a critical person, but rather the one who was able to bring out the best in others. Justin was an entertaining conversationalist who was quick to respond to Kristin's needs. He was a vibrant personality and he enjoyed verbally sparring with Kristin. In fact, those who knew him often remarked that Justin loved to argue for argument’s sake. He was very perceptive in recognizing others’ feelings, especially regarding Kristin's.
Justin's remarkable talent for being inventive influenced his relationship with his dog. He would create original, clever and fun games for Toby and had a knack for finding ways to make everyday events, even bathes, enjoyable for him.. Someone who was quick to laugh, Justin found it easy to spend lots of time with Toby.
As a born inventor, Justin was definitely in his element in his work place. He could easily create new and innovative systems, and incorporate those changes to bring a fresh approach to any work situation. Justin was a focused worker with a strong drive for achievement. He could assess all of the options before him and, using his analytical skills, could comfortably find answers that no one else had even considered. His personal initiative inspired those around him. Justin was always good at getting a project started and then, at the appropriate time, handing it on to a colleague. His primary occupation was a carpenter and a heavy equipment operator. He was employed for his Dad at Interior Customs Mill Works family business building cabinets and later worked for Burnside and Double O as a heavy equipment operator. Justin always made an effort to be a team player, doing what needed was necessary in order to get the job done.
Justin's passion for finding a better way to do things was often an end in itself for him. In fact, that interest by itself became something of a hobby for this perpetual problem solver. Since Justin was always searching for new and unusual activities, he developed many interests and leisure pursuits. Some of the things he became an “expert” in might come as a surprise to those who knew him, but most friends and family understood that Justin simply couldn't be limited to just a few activities or ideas. His favorite pursuits were dancing and enjoying life with his family and friends.
Justin's calm demeanor and eternally positive outlook served him well in sports. Recreational sports included beach volleyball and hanging out by the pool with family and friends. Justin was also something of a sports fan and enjoyed following his favorite events whenever he got the opportunity. Tops on his list were football and baseball.
Justin's talents were well suited for being actively involved in professional and community organizations, something he did throughout his life. He enjoyed being involved and was willing to jump in and help out in most any situation. Justin could bring a breath of fresh air to any organization, simply by introducing his novel ideas and problem solving strategies. In high school, Justin was a member of the hang with your buddies club. Throughout his later years, Justin was an active member of enjoy life and live each day like it is your last.
Faith and religion were important to Justin. He was a member of the Baptist church where he was saved and baptisted.
Having the opportunity to visit and explore a new place always intrigued Justin. Traveling and going away on vacations offered yet another opportunity for Justin to expand his ever-growing inventory of knowledge. Favorite vacations included hunting and fishing trips taken with his dad, brother and Paw Paw. And all the crazy road trips he took with his friends and family.
Justin was a lover of animals and cherished his pets. One of Justin's favorites was Toby, a Heinze 57 dog that was like his child. They were best friends for over 10 years and Toby is still living and lives with Justin's parents Howard and Denyse..
On March 31, 2014, his new life involved relocating to Heaven. In retirement, he found new pleasures in being in heaven with his loved ones that where there waiting on him to be called home.
Justin passed away on March 31, 2014 at Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston,Texas. Justin life was cut short due to an Aneurysm. Justin is survived by his father, Howard Dewayne Bruton; mother, Denyse Sylvia Claytor; brother, Dewayne Allen Bruton and wife Candice; nieces, Addison Nicole Bruton and Kennedy Claytor; nephew Thomas Adam Claytor Jr, his (Meme) Shirley Ann Peterson, his four legged friend Toby Bruton,. Uncle Thomas Adam Claytor and wife Allison. Aunt Pamela Denise Cooper and husband David . Along with several other aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members and friends. Justin is preceded in death by his Paw Paw, Einar Joseph Peterson and grandparents, Robert Eugene and Zita Oxana Claytor; Paw Paw, Donald Henry Sr. and mother Carol Ann Henry. Visitation will be from 5pm to 9pm on Friday, April 4, 2014. Funeral Service to begin at 10am on Saturday, April 5, 2014 in the Brookside Family Chapel. Interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
During his lifetime, nothing appeared impossible to Justin. He met the words “it can’t be done” with the enthusiastic challenge of a “wanna bet” attitude. Justin was able to recognize the possibilities a new idea held, even when those around him could not. For Justin, the traditional way of doing things fell short of his expectations, especially if there were original and untested methods for handling a challenge. For Justin Eugene Bruton, the fun of living his life could be found in the challenge.
