Justina M. Garcia

Justina Morales Garcia also known as “Tia Justina” of Houston Texas died at home on the morning of Friday July 15th 2022 at the age of 91 years old. She was surrounded by family and friends during her final days. Justina was born on September 26th 1930 in Danevang Texas to Jose “Papa Joe” Morales and Tomasa Arrambide. She had four brothers and 3 sisters. She cared for all of her siblings. Justina was a very Smart, Loving, Independent, strong, and Hard-working Woman. Justina married in April 1949. They had a son Agustin Garcia. Her Husband Enrique “Rico” Garcia Passed away in 1993. Justina Had three Grandchildren, Pricilla, Arlene, and Henry. She has four Great Grand Children. Most of her life she ran her own business with the most recent being Rico’s Triangle on North main in Houston Texas. She then decided to sell Rico’s in 2006. Justina loved going to Church. She also enjoyed music, food and going to Cachatas. She loved her plants and you would often find her outside watering them. She lived a full life, filled with love. We all were truly Blessed to have had her in our lives.

The Garcia Family would like to thank Richard Palomo, her care giver-Severa, Friends, and Family for the care and compassion they showed Justina in her final days.

A visitation for Justina will be held Monday, July 18, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pat H. Foley & Company, 1200 West 34th Street, Houston, TX 77018. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Christ the King, 4419 North Main Street, Houston, TX 77009.
