Karen, I can't believe it's been 3 years since we lost you! Not a day goes by that I don't think of you . There's always some little thing that I see or hear that triggers a memory of times past spent with you. They were always good times, and I miss them, you, so so much.  Rest peacefully my friend. I can't believe it's already been two years since we lost you Karen. I think of you so often, and while I miss you terribly, I'm glad that you are finally at peace.  I'll see you again someday my sister and friend. Sleep well. 💕 Joyce

To The Gonzales family. I was so sad to hear the lost of Karen.  Words cannot express such a great loss. I will always remember the two of you on your motorcycle.    Cruising and witnessing the love of Jesus whom she is now in the presence of her Savior.   Just know that He is your comforter during this most difficult time of such a great loss. I have so many happy memories of Karen. When ever she saw me she would always say hello,  whether at church or in the community.  She always had a smile and would want an update on my family and she would give me an update on hers.  So many memories of her going into the streets feeding the poor and opening her home for Bible study.   She was a dear sister in Christ and I will miss her.  My deepest condolences to the family. 

My fondest memory is going to my first street ministry, it was a cold night and we were going out to feed some men at the homeless ahelter.   We made some chili, took some socks and also prayed with them.   Karen inspired me to reach out and pray with someone, which was something that was really outside my comfort zone, but she made me feel confident in knowing I could do it.  She had a beautiful soul and I will always remember her heart for giving to others.  My prayers and God's comfort be with you all.

Bridijido, my condolences to you and your family.  I have enjoyed the times of Fellowship, Street Ministry and our prayer meetings together.  Karen will not be forgotten and as I remember seeing her at church not long ago  is the memory I still have of her now.  Sweet, Kind and bubbly.  I must say I’ve always admired her passion to help those in need.  God bless you all and may His grace carry you daily during this difficult time.  

Karen;  my sister-in-law, my friend, my help in so many ways.  I called you Chica, and you called me Little Girl (even though I’m 8 years older that you).  I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that you’re really gone from this world!  We had a bond between us that made it easy to share so many things.  Even if we got busy with our lives and didn’t see or talk to each other for a while, we were always able to come together again and pick up where we left off.   Hearing your voice when you called, and seeing you always made me smile.   We’ve laughed and cried together, shared our worries and fears over our husbands, kids, jobs; so many things.  And sharing our faith in God especially drew us so closer to each other.  We could always talk about anything.  I’m going to miss our talks so much!  I’m going to miss running around with you doing all the things we use to do. You always knew the best places to go, and gladly took Jeff and I with you and Brij to new places we’d never have gone to if you hadn’t taken us there.  You made everything an adventure and so much fun.  You were such a bright light in this world.  To lose you is such a great loss.  No one will ever be able to take your place.  You fought hard to live.  Through all your heartache and pain, you always kept a positive attitude and never gave up hope.   We prayed so hard for you, and just knew God would spare you.  But His plans were not what we hope for.  He wanted to take you back home with Him.  But you knew your time was almost over.  Just a few weeks ago, the last time we were together, you told me about your sufferings, and you told me you were ready to go see God.  I think you felt your time was drawing near.  You fought the good fight my dear friend, now it’s time for you claim your reward.  Thank you for leaving us Shannon, Lathon and Allie, for always being there for Jeff and Tanya, and just for being you.  Thank you for being my friend.  I will miss you so much.  Until we meet again Sis. RIP

It's so hard to write this because I don't want to believe it's true. How could someone who was so full of life be gone, it's not fair. Karen is a remarkable person, she brought the best out in people. She would have given the shirt off her back to someone in need. She made a positive impact on so many people's lives. She was truly blessed.  I'm going to miss my friend  :(

How do I share of your beloved sisters whole life in a paragraph ..you don’t. I was there when you were born and to the end of yours. That was not supposed to happen being that you were the youngest. I cant  count the many times you were there when I needed you the most no matter the time of the day you came to my aid. You drove all the way to Kerrville Texas to get me when a rain storm blew me off the highway. Til most recently helped me get moved to Arizona less than a year ago after I had 4 strokes which  left me unable speak.You bought me food so I could eat . You checked on me everyday to make sure I woke up and was doing alright. Which at the time you could probably surmise I probably wouldn’t have longer to go.  But here I am. I know you worried about me by myself and I told you then that I would not see you again. Little did I know that you would be gone from my sight  in so short of a time. You have left a very big void in my life, to large to fill by anyone or anyone thing. These were just some of the things that You did for me and Brijido included. Til we meet again sissy. You are gone from my sight but not my heart. I know that you are in a better place the lord gained another angel.

I wish I didn't have to write this. I wish I had more time with you. I wish you could call or text just one more time, just to hear you call me mija. I wish we hadn't lived so far away, but maybe this allowed me to cherish my visits. I have such great memories. The list is endless of how you'll be missed. Your sense of humor, sarcasm, your laugh, how you reminded me of Grandma, your smile, your cooking, how if you got a hold of my phone you'd snap a selfie only for me to find later and how you loved everyone with your whole heart. You truly were one a kind. You were a little firecracker at times and there is no doubt I got that from you. 🤣 I'll make sure I don't let my fuse get too short. 😉 Thank you for all the wonderful memories. I hope it is everything you ever hoped for and more! 
I couldn’t help but miss you. Granny I hope you know how much I loved you, I really do. 
I lost my one and only granny, I lost a best friend, and I lost a true fashion guru… I lost a love of my life. And quite frankly I’m scared for a life without you. I’m gonna miss our phone calls, along with our visits. I know we didn’t see each other often but every time We did it made my life so much better. 
Your smile could lighten up a room from miles away!  I’m gonna miss your big ol’ hugs and the “I love you punkin!” (Pun•ken) I feel like I lost my granny way to soon. I wish I could clap and make everything go back to normal again. I wish I could hold you and tell you “everything will be okay,” and tell you “I love you!!” 
I have always been so proud to call you granny and that will never change. I am happy you don’t have to hurt anymore. I am glad you are in a better place, with your long lost loved ones. But granny if I’m being honest I am not ready to say goodbye, and I never will be. You will forever be held close to my heart. I hope you can look down at me and be proud. I hope you can look down at me and brag that Im your little girl… that I’m your punkin. 
Every time I look in the mirror I can hear you tell me “you got this baby,”  or “come on punkin you can do this,” and it pushes me to strive for so much more, and to work so much more.  As much as it hurts that you are gone I know you’re resting. Now you can rest peacefully with your family. It hurts… but I will continue to stay strong for you.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Karen. Brijido you and your family have my deepest condolences.  We share some good times in street ministries, prayer group and talking about our sons.  Karen was such a sweet person.

Our favorite memory with Karen is our time of street ministry!   Karen was always eager to feed the homeless offer hugs and to minister love to those in need!   We were blessed to have Karen apart of our prayer group for a number of years!   The many times we spent breaking bread, sharing, laughing , and of course eating was priceless!   Anytime we needed extra food for the streets, Karen was always eager to cook and organize anything we needed!  Although we lost touch over the years due to unforeseen reasons we will always love Karen and her zest for life and her love of others!   We are blessed to have known her and to be apart of her life.   Although our hearts are saddened, we know she is dancing among the angels and is at rest from all of her labour.   We offer our condolences and heartfelt prayers to the Gonzales Family!    💕

I was saddened to hear of  your passing sweet sister Karen but at the same time rejoicing knowing that you are now resting in the arms of our Lord...my prayers will be with your family.   We will trust in the promises of God 🕊

Not sure where to even begin…from disbelief to trying to understand or even comprehend. Sunday was pretty numb to me. I never question our God…but it was His will. And knowing that you are now rejoicing in His beautiful kingdom, well, it brings me some comfort. 🙏🏼 
You and I Karen have laughed, cried, and prayed together, and I loved you. You were a beautiful person…with the most biggest heart of gold I have ever  encountered. 
Totally blessed beyond words to have had you in my life. I will miss you immensely my friend.

Karen always made a point to stop and speak with me when we saw each other in the office. She'd always ask whether I'd been out riding and was always just such a joy to chat with.  She always had a smile and kind word and she will be missed by many. Ride hard and keep the wheels down (:  God Bless you and your family.

I met Karen and Brijido about 2006. We were at a bike rally in Bandra I think. From the time we first met she was so loving and loved to see that you were taken care of. There I was 4 years old then her, but she mothered me. She was a caring lady and I will miss her. My prayers go out to the family.

"GOD STILL SPEAKS!" My Dear Sister Karen! How many roads did we drive down in that far away town passing church after church, mile after mile with all the marques saying, "God Still Speaks?" It became our mantra.  There are no coincidences. Our meeting all those years ago was a divine appointment and how comforted I am to know that it is eternal.  Sometimes I cry so hard at your passing but I also praise so hard knowing it's not the end. You are so dearly loved, here and there. Until our spirits meet again. Your Sister In Christ, Helene. ... sending love and prayers of comfort to all of Karen's family. 


I always remember seeing Karen at my aunt Shannon's family gatherings, we didnt talk much but just like my grandpa she was always smiling. You were a very small part of my life, but it pained me deeply to hear of your passing.  Rest in peace you beautiful soul.
