Karen Dolores McKeague

Karen Delores McKeague, 67, of Houston, TX passed away on February 26, 2018. She was born on July 21, 1950 in Houston, Texas, to parents E.A. Bales and Alice Vaunese Bales. Karen lived in Hawaii for 41 yrs before moving back to Houston in 2010. Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Vaunese Bales and brother, Robert Bales. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Pualani and husband Benjamin Battle. She is survived by her sons, Keone Castleberry, Jarrett McKeague and their wives, Claudia Castleberry and Anita McKeague; 11 grandchildren, Chaelene Leleo, James Leleo, Caitlyn Ross, Shantelle Castleberry, Michael McKeague, Benjamin “BJ” Battle, Serena Castleberry, Larissa Castleberry. Leila Castleberry, Reaven Caceres, Karen Andrea Caceres; great-grandchild, Kailehua McFadden and father E.A. Bales. The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM; with a funeral service at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 2, 2018 in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home; followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
