

She was born in 1936 to Catherine Helen Bergob and Martin Anthony McRedmond in Dallas, Texas, the fourth of ten children. After schooldays with the Daughters of Charity at Holy Trinity Catholic School and Ursuline Academy, she attended the University of Dallas and received degrees from St. Paul School of Nursing and Creighton University. Upon graduation she worked in the Houston Medical Center, serving as head nurse in various positions. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Kahil, and survived by daughters, Susan Kahil and Carol Krippel (Scott), and six grandchildren.
Solemn High Requiem Mass in the Traditional Latin Rite will be offered at Annunciation Catholic Church in Houston on Thursday, January 8 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Rosary at 9:30 AM. Reception to follow. She will be laid to rest at Houston National Cemetery. Gregorian Masses are being offered at St. Hugh's Charterhouse. Please keep our parents, John and Kathleen, and All Souls, in your prayers. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
