

A.k.a. Bud, Dad, Papa and Papa J was born in Eureka, Kansas on November 21, 1938. He grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1957 and then graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1961 where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. Upon his graduation, he began his 34 year business career at IBM where he was a very successful Senior Marketing Representative.
Keith met the love of his life in the summer of 1962 when he saw Lilah Cleeton. After only three dates, Lilah knew that Keith was the one. They were married on October 12, 1962 where they started their life together in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They had their first son, Kevin in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and then moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma and had their second son Kyle and their daughter Angela.
The family moved to Houston, Texas in April 1972. Keith’s success at IBM continued. He enjoyed numerous years playing golf at Brae Burn Country Club, coaching little league, two stepping at various honky tonks, playing duplicate bridge, listening to good old country music, enjoying neighborhood block parties and vacationing in the rain in Padre Island. Keith’s family grew with the marriages of each of his children and the addition of their grandchildren and great grandchild: Kevin married Shella Brown and had their sons Ryan and Eric. Ryan married Ashley Sewell and this year had their son Owen. Kyle is married to Kimberly Bickle and had their daughters Carly and Ellie. Angela had her sons Austin, Dillon and Mason and is now married to Christopher Granger.
In 1992, Keith and Lilah transferred to Colorado Springs, Colorado. They continued to enjoy their time together playing golf at the Country Club of Colorado. After retiring from IBM in 1995, the two enjoyed travels to Spain, Germany, Italy, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Norway, Denmark, Ireland and Hawaii. Their favorite trip was for their 50th wedding anniversary at Lake Tahoe in Nevada where they were able to celebrate the event with their entire family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nels Alfred Jensen and Ruth Hazel Jensen and grandson Cale David. He is survived by his brother Kenneth.
Services will be held at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home at the Robert Waltrip Texas Liberty Chapel 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079 on Saturday, November 16th at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Keith’s name to the American Cancer Society or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
