Kenneth E. Bridges

Kenneth Earl Bridges, age 62, passed away November 26, 2011 with complications from cancer. Born in W. Virginia he moved to Texas in his early years. Ken proudly served in the US Army in Vietnam before starting his education and career in Criminal Investigations and Professional Security, most recently with Houston Community College. He was a member of DAV – Chapter 233 and attended Brazos Bend Baptist Church. He loved horses, dogs, Dodge trucks and owning guns. Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Lorraine Bridges. He is survived by his wife of nearly 6 years, Nancy E. Bridges; son, Kenneth Earl Bridges II & wife Sharon and their children Jaryd, Jaidyn & Jiordana; step-daughter, Tammie Moffett & family; sister, Sharon Jenkins & husband Bob; brother, Jon Bridges & wife Sara; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm on Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077.
