Kenneth I. Hughes, 89, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away October 22, 2010. He was born in Houston, TX on March 1, 1921 to Floid and Myra Hughes. Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Jane; son, Randy Hughes and wife Patricia; daughter, Sandra Boyd. Kenny (Paw Paw) had 3 grandchildren: Brent Boyd, Blake Boyd, Lesli Fussell; 8 great grandchildren: Baiyli Boyd, Blaike Boyd, Braydon Boyd, Brauch Boyd, Elias Boyd, Avery Boyd, Lexus Hosford, Hunter Hosford. He loved his family very much and all loved him equally. Kenny graduated from Reagan High School, served in the Navy during WWII, was a member of Hidden Valley Church of Christ and worked for the U.S. Post Office for over 40 years before he retired. All whose lives he touched will cherish the memory of his gentle spirit, kind heart, deep faith and love in his Lord. Visitation will be from 3-8pm, Monday, October 25th at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 26th at 12:30pm in Brookside Funeral Home Chapel.
