Kevin Lawrence O'Dea

Kevin graduated high school from Fordham Prep in Bronx, New York. He received his undergraduate from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. He proceeded in obtaining his graduate degree in Law from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He practiced law in Chicago, Illinois, Fort Worth, Texas, New Orleans, Louisiana and Houston, Texas. He made many lifelong friendships throughout the United States where he had practiced law.

Kevin was able to visit the many wonderful countries this world had to offer him. His favorite country to visit was Ireland where his parents were born and laid to rest. Kevin acquired a fine taste of Italian food on his adventures throughout Italy. He was proud to be a long-time member of the Mardi Gras Krewe of Endymion in New Orleans. For many years he enjoyed walking in the New Orleans St. Patrick’s Day parade. He was an absolute gentleman, uncle and known for providing wonderful company to those he knew and meet.

He is proceeded in death by his sister, Geraldine M. O’Dea and is survived by her children, Patrick Pellegrino, Gabby Pellegrino, Aimee Struble, Mary Davis, as well as many great nieces and nephews.

Services will be held in Houston, Texas on March 6, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. C.S.T. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10330 Hillcroft, Texas 77096. The family ask that in lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Kevin O'Dea to St. Thomas More.
