Kevin Ray Pishkar of Katy, Texas, passed away suddenly on November 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love that felt larger than life. Born on April 25, 1985 in Houston, Kevin is survived by his wife Jeana, their children Sophie and Eli, his parents Kevin and Diana, brother Wade, and a wide circle of family and friends who will miss his laugh and the way he could make a hard day feel lighter. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbie Jean and brother, Justin.
If you met Kevin once, you likely remember it, he was that kind of presence. A big personality with an even bigger heart, he was the bright light in every room and the steady friend who showed up when you needed him most. He was the person who helped - fixing the thing that “should be simple,” or listening without judgment. He believed connection was the point, and he lived that belief with intention.
He cheered on Houston sports through the highs and (let’s be honest) the long rebuilds, because hope was his default setting. At home, his favorite team was always his family. He delighted in making his children laugh. With Jeana, he built a life that shared joy in the everyday, especially when sharing stories about their kids. Professionally, Kevin found his calling in the automotive care industry as a service manager. He didn’t just know cars, he knew your car: he would absolutely let you know how and why the fix mattered.
A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please consider sending a donation to Bo’s Place or the Sam Houston Council of Boy Scouts of America (Pack 49).
