Krystal Castillo, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and aunt, passed away on March 14, 2023. She was born on February 5, 1985, in Houston, where she remained all of her life. Krystal enjoyed cooking and aspired to be a chef. She was a prankster and was known for her athleticism playing softball, swim team and participated in the marching band as percussionist in school; where she graduated from MacArthur High and later attended The Art Institute and U of H downtown. Her mother, Mary Ortega Castillo, father, Arturo Castillo, her brother Arturo Castillo, sister Carolyn Castillo, as well as her two young daughter's ages 13 and 4, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends remember her with love and prayers. A private family memorial will be held to celebrate her life.
