Hey Daddy, it’s been a couple years. A couple long long years.. I hate that I haven’t written on this, I should’ve done this a long time ago. For closure. I think it’s time for me to realize you aren’t coming back, that you are gone. I keep on looking at families with fathers, fathers who stayed, who didn’t give up on their kids, their families. And you want to know what I wanna say to you, I hate you. I hate you for leaving me. I hate you for making me do everything by myself. I hate YOU for making me hate myself. The worst part is I don’t really hate you.  I miss you. And it hurts me how much I miss you daddy. I love you.

My name is Nila. The name Kyle Brown has came to Me out of nowhere, along with multiple of His Nicknames. Madalynn (sorry if I spelt it wrong.) Has came to mind for some reason too. Just know that He misses Yall and Loves Yall. Thinks about You often. There is life after here.

Not only were you my “coach” when I enter the construction industry but my inspiration through out the beginning of my career. I enjoyed working alongside you within those 2yrs and always looked forward to sharing stories and cracking jokes. Thank you for the memorable days and wisdom you shared. Much blessings to your beautiful daughters and family!

RIP brother, Kyle Lee Brown

We may not have been blood, but we all know that doesn’t matter in our family. Lol
God knew what he was doing when he made you my brother.  

I will miss all of our long conversations, shenanigans at family gatherings, random grappling, exploring, and everything in between. 

To my 3 nieces- I hope you know how much your daddy loves each and every one of you. Y’all were his world. Just like before- Aunt C is always a phone call away. I love y’all 🖤

This particular memory I have of Kyle was when we were working on the Methodist North Tower Expansion together.  We worked some long hours, this photo Kyle took on my personal phone in the GC safety trailer (where we often did our paperwork).  I had stepped away and when I came back to the trailer he had taken a selfie and put it as my screensaver on my phone.   Kyle had a wonderful work ethic and was always wanting to help others by teaching or encouraging to be the best at whatever they chose to do. 

Good bless his family ,we working together in fireproof department.we miss his smile ,rest in peace. From all my crew.

Kyle, I am so sorry I cannot be there with you today. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I will pray for daughters also.

Kyle, You were one of the first people I met at MAREK in 2015.  You were a rising star recognized for your talent, leadership, and attention to detail.  Here you are with Aurelio back in the day.  He and Arthur, among others, were and are so proud of all you accomplished.  You were thoughtful and dedicated, with big dreams.  You continued to grow, respected by everyone who had the opportunity to work with you.  You brought others with you, a great leader and mentor for your team - always ready with a thoughtful word of encouragement for others.  We are better for knowing you.

We miss you dearly.

Dear Kyle Lee,
My heart is sad that I won't get to see your smiling face as a wonderful young man and father.  I haven't seen you since you and Patrick and Peggy Sue were little kids. I will always remember the time that your mom and you kids stayed with us, up here in Oklahoma. We shared a lot of laughs and had a lot of fun. It was a short time but I will always treasure those memories. I hope I will get a chance to meet your kids someday. I also want to thank you for the service you gave for your country.  You are a hero. I love you, Uncle Rob!!!

Lil cousin....not by much anyway we both where blessed with life in 87......im still older....but we didn't need age anyway ...growing up you Patrick and Peggy were my best friends definitely my brothers and sisters....we all grew up in the same three houses.. mine....yalls ....and Daniel's house....all my childhood and my adult life...countless stay overs....hunting trips....fishing trips....trips to go see paw paw in Kilgore...all the best memories are with you and Peggy and Patrick and Daniel...and uncle Jimmy....basically  all of our older brother...help raise each one of us as much as the other....we had a great childhood.....I always looked up to you...I'm  not sure if you knew that...I always felt guilty I was the only one that didn't go in service....I was so scared for you cuz....I helped introduce you to your wife on a roadtrip....I gave a awesome and hilarious....honest speech about how you too kids we're in love....and I honor you and your wife and always envied yall a lil....she gave you three perfect young lady's that need to know Lil Charlie my son and Kaily my daughter...I talked to Patrick and Peggy and we all agreed that we are going to give all our children your young lady's too...they have our last name with our blood...and they deserve to enjoy these things like we did .. im gonna become the uncle Jimmy for our kiddos...lol....I'll just be whatever they need me to be imm kool with it....I miss you ......I wish I could have talked to you about myself and the trials and tribulations that I have seen...maybe we could have helped each other fly...I can tell you...I know you have wings....no way you don't cause for the few things you did wrong...you did a million gazillion better....I know this to be a fact...go hold hands with pawpaw and Grandma Peggy and all of our other loving family......Kyle I could write forever and it still won't come close to what you meant to me your loud annoying cousin Charlie Brown...ur the only family I fist fought.luv u

I miss you so much. You have taught me many things. Almost 4 years working together, you are a great boss, you are a great friend, the  little time that I did see you, I know you’re a great dad. Dear Kyle: We lost you too early.  I know your daughters will miss you. You loved them so much. My heart goes out to them.  I am praying for you and them.  

I thoroughly loved working with this young man.  He was always the voice of reason on the job, a man of integrity who loved his work, his coworkers and his family.   He had a sweet, calm spirit that was refreshing to be around.   On behalf of his team here at Marek, he will be dearly missed.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and his precious daughters.  He loved them so very much!  

The 3 “loves” of my life. A mother will do what she needs to for her child…….no matter what. Age, flaws, differences SHOULD NEVER change that love. A Mother’s Bond between her and her children will NEVER break especially in MY HEART. Family is everything to me. 

Rest easy brother,  it was a pleasure to serve with you. Here's one of our few photos that aren't completely awful. My condolences to your family.
