He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Gantt & husband, Richard; daughter -in- law, Glenda Scott; grandchildren, Lynsey Scott, Amy Gantt, Nolan Scott, Jared Gantt; sisters, Edith Lanfear, and Dorothy Gault; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Lee Ray is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Clyde Scott, and his wife, Elizabeth, of whom he was married for 54 years at the time of her death in 2012, and his son, Donald Ray Scott.
Lee Ray served two years in the United States Army during the Korean War. After serving his country he worked for Continental Can Company over 15 years. He then pursued a business and was owner of Star Camper Sales for nearly 20 years and later ventured out into car sales until his retirement.
Lee Ray was a devoted husband, father, and "Paw Paw" and a friend to all. He possessed a great sense of humor and was the practical family jokester. Watching TV westerns and the "Texan's" football, deer hunting and playing cards and dominos were a few of Lee Ray's favorite past times. To say that Lee Ray loved spending time with his family would be an understatement, for he always looked forward to the annual family reunions and vacations to the Frio River.
Special thanks to Grace Care of Tomball for their loving care and support.
