Leon Wayne Tilotta of Cypress went to his heavenly home on July 14, 2017 at the age of 64. He was born on October 27, 1952 to Frank and Margaret Tilotta. He spent most of his life on a tractor, working in the tomato fields with his family on their farm. When he wasn’t farming, you could find him firing up the BBQ pit or hanging out with friends. Leon’s proudest accomplishments in life were his children and the successful adults that they have become.
Leon is survived by his son Billy Tilotta and wife, Loli and their sons, Luke and Bryce; son, Robert Tilotta and wife, Cristina and her son Alan, daughter Danielle Tilotta; sister, Mary Armato and husband Tony. Nieces and nephews, Gina Tilotta, Cynthia Tilotta, Frank Tilotta Jr., Britney and Brad Voelkel, and their daughter, Addyson and Sonny Armato. Preceding Leon in death were his parents, and brother, Frank “Sonny” Tilotta.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 5-8pm at Brookside Funeral Home – Cypress Creek, 9149 Hwy 6 N, Houston, TX 77095. Burial will be on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 10am at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
