

On October 20, 2021 at age 73 his ship set sail for its final shore. Les is survived by his wife Phyllis of 52 years and his beloved son Adam, his brother Richard and wife June, his sister Jeanette Seale and brother in law Mike and his sister-in-law Diana and husband Dewaine Gorham. He was blessed to have 6 nieces and 7 great nieces and nephews.
In 1968 as the Vietnam Conflict raged on, in fear of being drafted, Les chose to join the U.S. Navy, following in his father’s footsteps. Les served two deployments to the Mediterranean and the Pacific.
He began his career at Forrest Mfg. Company as the saw boy. He learned to build specialty saws and traveled the world assembling them. He finished his career as the General Manager of Forrest Mfg.
He spent several years as a Hot Shot Driver delivering computers throughout the United States. He finished his work career, once again, as the saw boy for Nice Matters, our privately owned company.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Texas Liberty Mausoleum Chapel at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm and final committal service to follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
