Lillian "Mrs. Lillie" Piazza Sedita

Lillian Mary Sedita, 92, (Mrs. Lillie), beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on July 24, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the parents of Bill & Armanse Piazza and was preceded in death by her loving husband, Sam Sedita of sixty years.

She is survived by her five children and their spouses, daughters: Roseanne (Jerry) Jensen, Mary (Fred) Sager; sons: Joseph (Gloria) Sedita, Billy (Marie) Sedita and Sammy (Bambi) Sedita, Jr.; grandchildren: Sammy (Jamie) Rizzotto, Roxanne (Stephen) Broussard, Dr. Derick Sager, Dr. Layne Sager (Nate) Doelling, Gina (Dustin) Reed, Leanne (Dustin) Ash, Brandi Sedita, Meaghan Sedita, Ashley (David) Aldridge and Kelly Jensen; great-grandchildren: Jeremy and Lucas Rizzotto, Joshua Broussard, Caitlin and Jacob Ash, Michael Aldridge; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She will be deeply missed by all of her loving family. Our mother was a loving, kind and caring person who was loved by all those who knew her. If there is a kitchen in heaven, she is probably already there cooking and baking, since that was the way she expressed her love for anyone who crossed her path and mm-mm, it was good.

Pallbearers: Sammy Rizzotto, Dr. Derick Sager, Stephen Broussard, Jeremy & Lucas Rizzotto, Joshua Broussard, Nate Doelling and Nick Bua.

Friends are invited to visitation with the family on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm in the Hunters Creek chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 4918 Cochran Street, Houston, TX 77009. Interment will follow in the Garden of Gethsemane at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
