Lillian Jane Stegent

Lillian Jane Stegent, a beloved native of Houston and long-time resident of Houston Heights, passed away on August 18, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on August 21, 1935, Lillian graduated from Incarnate Word Academy on May 31, 1953, and dedicated 35 years to Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.

Lillian is survived by her sons, Jimmy P. Stegent, Larry W. Stegent, and Raymond L. Stegent, and his wife Sandra Stegent. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Alishia Stegent, Tonyia Lindsey and her husband Curtis Lindsey III, Joseph Franklin, Kevin Franklin and his wife Danille Franklin. Lillian's great-grandchildren, Ethan Alverado, Wesley Alvarado, Curtis Lindsey IV, Carter Lindsey, Tucker Lindsey, Tillie Lindsey, Joseph Franklin, Jr., Josh Franklin, and Logan Franklin, also carry forward her memory.

A visitation will be held on August 26, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Pat H. Foley & Company, located at 1200 West 34th Street, Houston, TX 77018. This will be followed by a Rosary Service from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the same venue.

The funeral service will take place on August 27, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, located at 10688 Shadow Wood Dr, Houston, TX 77043. Following the funeral service, a grave site service will be held from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, located at 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.

Lillian Jane Stegent will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her community, and her long-standing commitment to her work. Her presence will deeply be missed by all who knew and loved her.
