Linda Denise Gonzalez, 38, of Houston, Texas, passed away on March 1, 2026. Beloved and cherished, Linda will be remembered most for the way she loved—fully, generously, and with her whole heart.
Born and raised in Houston, Linda loved to dance and danced all through high school. She graduated from Alief Taylor High School, carrying forward a spirit that was bright, lively, and unmistakably her own.
Shortly after high school, Linda had her daughter, Analiese, who became her whole world. She loved and treasured her deeply. Linda met her husband, Kyle, while working at his father’s restaurant, and the three of them became a family—loving to do everything together: vacationing, trying new restaurants, and returning again and again to favorites like Lupe Tortilla, Bluewave Seafood, and Hanks Crawfish.
Linda was a very successful event coordinator at Clay's Restaurant, where she planned all sorts of events including weddings, birthday parties, galas, and reunions. With care, style, and a steady hand, she helped others celebrate life’s biggest moments—always making sure people felt welcomed, seen, and taken care of.
Linda loved the beach, loved Real Housewives, and loved life so much. She loved dancing, singing, and making people laugh all the time. She also loved being “girly” with her daughter—doing their hair, makeup, nails, and toes—and enjoyed shopping days with Analiese that were as much about togetherness as they were about the day itself.
Linda loved helping others. She gave to others even when she didn’t have, and she loved her family so much. She will be remembered as a devoted mother and a deeply caring presence whose love was felt in the everyday moments and the hardest ones, too.
Linda was preceded in death by her biological father, Alejandro Armijo Gonzalez Jr.; her best friend, Nikki Holloway Knox; her grandmother, Manuela Cantu Blanco; her beloved dog, Molly; and her cousin, Jose Angel Coronado.
She is survived by her daughter, Analiese Victoria Restrepo; her husband, Edward Kyle Hammond; her mother, America Romero; her father, David Anthony Romero; her dog, Zeke, who loved her very much; and her two siblings, Alejandro Francisco Gonzalez and Jonathan Elijah Alvarado.
