Linden Thomas "Lin" Bonner, III passed away August 3, 2012 just short of his 42nd birthday. He was survived by the son he loved dearly, Thomas Bonner, his mother Susan Bonner, sister Brooke and nephew Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his beloved father and best friend, L.T. Bonner. Also deceased are cherished grandparents on both sides including Linden and Mae Bonner with whom he was extremely close. Lin was a kind, loving and gentle man who would give the shirt off his back to help a friend. Lin was funny, sweet and very sentimental. He loved his family, Elvis and sports. He was a 1988 graduate of Westbury High School where he played baseball. He attended Houston Baptist University and Southwest Texas State. Although sometimes misunderstood after times of sorrow, those who really knew him knew he had a heart of gold that was as big as Texas. Thank you to the man who was like a brother to him, Charles "Chili" Jiminez. He proved to be a lifelong friend to Lin. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, August 12 at 2 o'clock at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests a donation to a Houston area Little League.-----
