On August 3rd, God called Lois to heaven to be reunited with her beloved husband of 62 years, Albert. With grace and charm she hid the immense pain that she was in and never complained. The good times were family reunions and trips to Austin, where she was born. Growing up on a farm during the depression with 2 brothers gave her a strong sense of family. Many thanks to her caregivers at Emeritus. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Charles and Elodie Hakim, grandchildren, Rachael Hakim Smith and Bryan Hakim, and her great grandchild, Deon Smith. Services will be at Brookside Funeral Home, 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston TX 77095 at 2pm Saturday, August 10, 2013.
