

Loretta was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother (Memo), great grandmother, and treasured friend. She attended Hamilton Jr. High where she would meet the love of her life, Sandy. Loretta graduated from Reagan High School in 1963, where she served as captain of the Red Coats. After graduation, she went on to work at the light company. She married Sandy, February 6, 1965 and they would spend 59 beautiful years together.
Loretta was a social butterfly! She loved to reminisce on her days volunteering in the school PTA and little league. She spent Mondays playing MahJong, Wednesdays bowling, Thursdays at the movies with the girls, Fridays playing shuffleboard, nights playing Chicken Foot, monthly Tripoly days, Bunco groups and square dancing with Sandy and friends. Loretta’s fondest memories were trips to the Frio and Garner State Park with family and friends. She never turned down an opportunity to go shopping or gambling. Loretta was a dedicated fan of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She never missed a game! Loretta loved God fiercely and worshiped at Our Savior Lutheran in Houston and later moved to worship at Cypress Chapel.
Loretta is preceded in death by her parents Walter Phillip Davis, Jackie Leyendecker and stepfather Clifford; niece Retta Renee Mueller; and loving husband Arlan “Sandy” Ray Tomchesson.
Loretta is survived by her children Jill Mullins and husband Shawn, and Jay Tomchesson; grandchildren Jamie McMahan, Jason Lafferty and wife Celia, Dylan Mullins; Desmond (Juan), Elizabeth Gomez, Angel, Freddie and Hondo Tomchesson; great grandchildren Hudson Daniels, Easton and Arlan (AJ) Lafferty; Elijah and Lulu Tomchesson; sister Netta Palmer; and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
