Lorine Luedecke

Lorine Luedecke passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, August 21st at the age of 92. She was born in Bellville, Texas and spent the last 70 plus years in Houston, Texas.

Lorine loved gardening, fishing and hunting, but most of all, she loved her family. She spent many hours taking care of her granddaughters and great grandchildren.

She worked for a number of years at Lamb School at Metropolitan Baptist Church and was well liked by staff and children alike.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Luedecke and son in law Michael A. Scott.

She is survived by daughter Margie Scott, daughter Wanda Sledge and husband Fred, granddaughter Valerie Sledge and great grandchildren Tristan, Tess and Taryn and granddaughter Heather McCusker and husband Marc and great grandchildren Dane and Quinten.

Visitation and viewing will be Thursday, August 25th from 6 PM to 8 PM at Chapel of Eternal Peace Funeral Home located at 2454 South Dairy Ashford. Visit www.forestparkwestheimer.com for all information.

A memorial service will be held Friday, August 26th at 11 AM at Messiah Lutheran Church located at 11522 Telge Road.
