He met his wife during the 8th grade. They were high school sweethearts. They were married for 46 years. He raised three children with his wife. He retired from Harris County Civil Court House after 22 years of service.
Louis was no stranger to anyone. He greeted everyone that crossed his path. He had a kind heart and loved to be a jokester. He put out a hearty laugh. He loved to cook all kinds of food like BBQ and made delicious tortillas. He accomplished running a side catering job like full blown meals or frying turkeys for Thanksgiving.
He loved watching cowboy movies, Three Stooges, and his WWF wrestling. His special attention was to his grandkids. He loved playing with them and dancing with them. He was the Best Popo a grandchild could have.
Louis was survived by his wife Ermelinda Hernandez; daughters Lindamarie Palomarez and Maria Simon; son in law Darius Simon Sr; grandchildren Xavier Palomarez, Rosalinda Palomarez, Dazzalina Palomarez, Bella Guerra, Jayce Guerra, Isaac Hernandez Sp Faith, Alana Vaughn, Gianna Simon, Darius Simon Jr.;
great-grandchildren Anastasia Hernandez, Ezra Hernandez, Adeline Hernandez, Hazel Briones and Camila Guzman; his mother Dora Hernandez; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, aunts, uncles, sister in laws, and brother in laws.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Rosalinda Barrientos, his father Louis Hernandez Sr.; and his grandparents Guadalupe Hernandez Sp Consuela Telles and Lazaro Padilla Sp Trinidad Bijarro.
In closing, he will forever be missed and never forgotten.
