Luis Alejandro Roque Mesquitic

Our beloved Luis, son of Guillermina Roque and Sergio Nafate, was born in Cd. Valles, San Luis Potosi, MX on November 8th, 1994, and was raised from an early age in Houston, TX. Luis enjoyed traveling and going on road trips with his friends. He would spend his free time listening to music, watching shows, and most importantly keeping up with the latest tech. Some of his favorite shows were Greys Anatomy, Pokemon, and the DC Universe. At age 19, Luis went on to study Accounting at Texas A&M University-Commerce. After completing his degree, he moved back home to Houston to be close to his loved ones and went on to become a Bookkeeping Assistant.

Our dear Luis was a devoted son who dedicated his life goals and accomplishments to his family. He was a very loving and caring son, brother, and friend to us all, who made sure to bring joy into our lives. He was a hard-working individual, whose main goal in life was making sure his family was taken care of. Luis was selfless and compassionate, someone who loved to demonstrate the same love and protection he had for his family, to others around him. He will be dearly missed and remembered by many family members and friends.

Luis is survived by his mother Guillermina Roque, his father Sergio Nafate, and six younger siblings Sergio, Elssy, Jacob, Scarlet, Sandy and Mandy. May he rest in peace, our dear son, brother, and friend, Luis Alejandro Roque Mesquitic.

Luis’s Celebration of Life will take place Friday, March 31st at Garden Oaks Funeral Home (13430 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX 77083) from 4pm - 8pm. Funeral Service (public) will be Saturday, April 1st from 12pm - 2:30pm. Following the funeral service, Luis’s burial will take place at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home and Cemetery (12800 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX 77077) from 3pm - 4pm.
