Mahlon Nelson Johnson, Jr. was born on November 6, 1922 and passed away on January 8, 2012. He was a native Houstonian. Mahlon was of the Baptist faith and a good Christian man. He served his country in the Air Force and then joined Exxon, where he worked and retired after 42 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Isabel; a son, Donald and a daughter, Beverly. Mahlon is survived by his sister, Clara Ouida Johnson, a son, Thomas; granddaughter, Shawna J. Halverson and husband, Thomas and children, Thomas Jr. and Avery. Mahlon was a wonderful and loving family man and will be truly missed. The Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 10-11 am and the Funeral Service will follow at 11 am in the Chapel of Forest Park Westhiemer.
