

Malcom proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He returned to Texas to make his home. He was a dedicated employee of Raw Materials Corporation. There wasn't anything that Malcom enjoyed more than spending time with his family and friends. Whether it be fishing on the bay in Texas or vacationing in the Caribbean, Malcom was happiest surrounded by those he loved. He also had a passion for his 1969 Corvette he lovingly named Lucy. Malcom was a selfless person with a heart as big as the state that he loved. His love and kindness towards others was unconditional and unwavering.
He is survived by his daughters Sheli Lincecum, and Sarah Holloway. Son-in-laws Ben Lincecum, and Josh Holloway. His long-time partner Susan Turbeville and his seven grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Amber, Hailey, Alivia, Ryan, Mason and Brandt.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Sybil Barnes, and father, Malcolm Perkins, Sr. and daughter Tricia Perkins-Smith.
Arrangements have been made at American Heritage Funeral Home located at 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. Visitation will be Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 5-7pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 20, 2015 at 1:30pm with burial to follow at Houston National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Josh Holloway, JR Leal, Kasey Smith, Luis Azuara, Duston Sheffield, and Scott Brownhill, Jr.
