Marcia Epperson Davis

Marcia was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Horace and JoAnn Epperson on November 18th, 1951. She attended high school at Shawnee Mission South in Overland Park, Kansas. Marcia loved her role in the family as the oldest of four girls.

She enjoyed playing cards, games, and swimming with her family. As Marcia and her sisters began raising their families, they got together at their parents’ house as often as possible. Marcia enjoyed being involved with her children’s activities such as being a den leader in Cub Scouts and volunteering to teach classical music classes at the elementary school. Marcia remained close with her sisters and had a special bond with each of them. Marcia was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved her church family and enjoyed volunteering her time.

Marcia is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and JoAnn Epperson and her sister, Nancy Hearrell. Marcia is survived by her children, James Davis and his wife Anna Davis, John Davis and his wife Jennifer Davis, Rebecca Finley and her husband Charles Finley; her sisters Patti Volker and Judy Epperson; and her grandchildren, Eryn and Ben Davis, Joshua Davis, Matthew, Zachary, Bradley and Clayton Finley.
